The Ride
In this experience I am taking you back into the Namib desert. After a quick visit to the capital of Namibia, Windhoek, to get my fork seal fixed, I am so ready to get back to the desert! It had been a while since I rode a mountain pass and this one came as a real surprise. Join me while I descend 1000 meters over just 4 kilometers and enjoy the magnificent views while coming down. The pass itself sits at 1780 meters above sea level and large vehicles are not allowed on this pass because it has parts where the slope is a whopping 22% ! Did you notice that the mount of my 360 camera was a little loose so it distracted me a little as I kept on trying to adjust it! I hope you will focus on the incredible views and all the different colours of this special environment.
