The Ride
In this experience I am taking you along while I am running an important errand in Medellín. I need US dollars to pay for my passage across the Darien Gap. To safely exchange my Colombian pesos for dollars, I am going to an official money exchange in Medellín. After that, it's essential to quickly make my way out of the city again. Not every neighborhood over here is safe, and I don't want to risk riding into a street where I shouldn't when carrying lots of cash on me! So we stay in the good areas, while navigating the traffic like the local motorcycle riders: in between all the traffic!
