Without a doubt the most underrated country in the whole of Asia, Bangladesh is also the least touristy destination on the planet. With a whopping 160 million inhabitants, it only receives around 120.000 international arrivals annually. So it comes to no surprise that Asia’s “greenest jewel” has the lowest number of tourists compared to its population. This might explain why I didn’t come across one single foreigner during my time there and why the locals were so incredibly delighted to see me.

So bring that inner explorer out and go to see Bangladesh - a country with fabulous food, stunning greenery and lots of unexplored territory!
